Lots of Unfinished Projects

These last few weeks have been filled with unfinished projects. For the record, I feel much more satisfied with work that has a definite end date. I am not the kind of person who enjoys reading four books at a time or having what some might call a “creative mess.” Even so, sitting with the discomfort of unfinished projects is a good exercise for a brain like mine.

Here are our current works in progress, or WIPs as they are known in the creative world.

Although I have not been completing many tasks lately, M. and I have been spending a lot of time throwing doll birthday parties. She cannot get enough of them, and I am happy to be her party planning helper.

Happy Friday. Hope your weekend is a mix of productivity and relaxation in all the right proportions.

Doll birthday parties — sounds like a fun time for you and your daughter! We didn’t finish much around the house this weekend, either. But we spent a lot of quality time with family, which is much more important (and more fun!)

Family time really is more important. These long-term projects can skew a person’s view from time to time.
